On the last day of July, we....

*had a yummy breakfast,

*watched a super cheezy movie (one we purchased at Honk's) a bunch of times, while I took a shower.

*deep cleaned the master bathroom,

*made yummy whole wheat bread and ate it with my strawberry freezer jam,

*(the kiddies) enjoyed a nice nap

*(I) enjoyed quite time while I folded and put away about a gazillion loads of laundry.
*read books

*played with dolls, trucks, barn animals

*ate roast beef for dinner,

*spent the evening out on the deck (it wasn't as hot today...only about 80 degrees while we were out there!) watching the clouds and practiced the alphabet with our flash cards (the twins start preschool in about a month and we have been doing lots of different exercises during the summer. They love flash cards and I give them a treat for doing well!) ,

*watered our garden

*enjoyed a beautiful summer day!
Goodbye July! We love you!

You officially got the shirt and skirt for Grace. I love it!! I thought about stopping by there the other day, but didn't give into temptation. :-) What a great day you all had!

Is it Room Seven? I hope it's not because I can't afford Room Seven! However, I can afford Target where I got those same milk glasses in that first picture!

Yes, Holly, it is Room Seven! I got it at the Flower Basket's Summer Sale last week! Yay! I think they still have some... you should go check it out. Gracie loves this outfit and I think she looks so cute and sassy in it! I'm so glad I have a girl to dress up!

Did target really have those glasses? Dang... I should have bought more. I got those at hip and humble up in slc. I got the polka dot plate up there too! It's one of my favorite stops when I do a day trip!

You are WAY TOO fun! You make me look bad~! :) You're day sounds like a little piece of heaven, and probably tasted like it too. So glad to have found a friend in you!

Ok Kristen...how in the world do you have the energy to come up with these fabulous ideas and then actually do them? Wow! what a day. You are such a fun mom. Those glasses are super cute. Does Target still have them? Wish I had a little girl - that skirt is darling!

P.S. Did you make that "Happy Birthday" sign from your birthday posts? It's super cute!

Kristen said...

I don't think target has them anymore and I did make that sign! It was really easy and cheap! I'll show you how I did it sometime if you want!

Holly said...

I'm sure that Target doesn't have them cause we got them for our wedding, five years ago.

Let's get together soon! Next week?

Ya, I'd love to know how you made that sign. Christian's birthday is coming up next week and I'd love to make something like that.
